About the Artisan

Donovann Books is a small bookbinding and book repair business run by Charles Donovann. He is based out of Rapid River, MI and travels to and around the Escanaba and Marquette areas, with occasional visits to northern Wisconsin. You can usually find him at craft shows and events in the Escanaba area with his husband in tow to assist with carrying all these books! Everything he makes is created by hand, without any kind of "AI" assistance. He has been making books by hand since he was in high school in 2013, and repairing books since 2021.
